Latvia Needs You!

posted by samuray 12-03-2010, 16:15

Think, you could handle the crysis better than politicians are doing right now? Come and find it out! We are having economical crysis in eLatvia, just like in real Latvia. Right now we need a strong political power (Šlesers, who else?), which would be able to pull us out of this swamp. Such a possibility is provided by the massive online social strategy game eRepublik.

The game offers you a chance to live the second life in a way most of you will never be able to live in reality. Not all of you will be presidents or ministers in reality, not all will be given the chance to be the good Lembergs or evil Šķēle in reality, however it is all possible here in eRepublik. You could even become the national hero of latvian people – Lāčplēsis, who fought agains the Black Knight by the river Daugava and this time not falls into river, you could also become Antiņš, who rides up the Hill of Glass to Saulcerīte on his first tryout.

eRepublik is having more than 360000 citizens for now. Only 2321 of them are latvians. Poland who is great treat for all the Baltic states and even all the eWorld is having 56105 citizens. However Latvia is ranking 29th by the number of citizens from 60 countries. Such technological countries as Finland and Japan are still behind us. What gives you the technological advantage, if you are lacking the patriotism to present you country in every place and every time? Half the Europe is conquered by Poland right now and they are targeting Baltic states and Russia next. Only sharp rise of number of citizens can help us avoid the occupation.

Many people find themselves talented in politics, business or military leadership while playing this game. Maybe the next Zatlers will have his first country leading experience gained by playing eRepublik. By pulling eLatvia out of crysis we could show politicians how to solve the real life crysis. Of course we could always sit and do nothing or go shouting to our governmental building, however why don’t we show our politicians our idea made true in this virtual model?

For those, who had already played eRepublik and found it boring, I have good news. Big changes are coming to eRepublik. The most wanted of them is PvP (player versus player) battle mode. It is the mode, where you be able to kick some individual polish faces. This update will also include tank and helicopter usage in battles.

I, as one of the most experienced latvian players can provide you with referal link (http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/samurays), which will provide both of us with 5 gold, when you reach level 6. Those gold could be used to buy a food for the whole year or to prepare yourself for some important battle against poles. If almost every single latvian have a draugiem.lv profile, why couldn’t we all also have erepublik.com profile?
