Biju novilcis uz PS3 demo, šķita jau diezgan ok. Pirmās Mafijas fani būs priecīgi. Daudziem citiem šķitīs, ka tas ir kārtējais GTA klons, kas savā ziņā tā ir, bet tāpēc nevajadzētu spēli nepamēģināt. Mafia 2 ir GTA4 killers, tāpat, kā tas bija ar pirmo mafiju. Nevar pat salīdzināt. Tik tas, ka mafijā nepildot misijas ir nedaudz garlaicīgi, bet nevarētu jau teikt, ka GTA4 arī bija baigi daudz ko darīt. Mafia pirmā daļa jau priekš 2002. gada. Reitingi vien to pierāda. Tie, kas ir spēlējuši Max Payne pirmās 2 daļas ar sapratīs, kas ir vērtība. Remedy bija aizņemti ar Alan Wake veidošanu. Tas nozīmē, ka triloģijas noslēgums būs ļoti atšķirīgs no pirmajām divām spēlēm. Es ar izcilības saucieniem nemētātos riņķī. Un Mafia 2 Metacritic pagaidām atrodas @ 75 punktiem. Kaut kā.. labi, bet ne izcili. Giant Bomb 3/5 - I'm a sucker for a good mob story, but Mafia II's is merely decent. Destructoid 65/100 - Folks who love a decent mafia tale -- one of family ties, betrayal, and revenge -- will want to experience the world of Mafia II. Its competent game mechanics and absorbing narrative are enough to warrant a playthrough. But in the end, the repetitive nature of the game's sometimes mind-blowingly boring missions and lack of content will leave most gamers wanting more.
