In what seems to be an odd move, the World Cyber Games 2004 have announced that Counter Strike: Condition Zero shall replace the original Counter Strike in it?s upcoming 2004 WCG San Francisco tournament. This comes as an odd move because there have been many complaints about this game and its delays then a poor game produced. Although CS:CZ will be used, the same maps will be played on but players must get up to grip with the new versions of the maps of de_aztec, de_dust2 and several others if they are going to want to use the best tactics. The multiplayer game-play is almost identical to that of our favourite CS and it is only the single player version that is the actual let down. Even though this may come as an upset to many of the world?s top clans who attend the WCG events, as WCG 2004 offers so much money up for grabs in several games, you can expect many clans to follow this change. Vai tad tu esi spēlējis pēdējo fināla versiju? Man liekas, ka tā 1.3, kas bija pirms kāda laika pieejama, bija nozagta kopā ar HL2 un pašu zagļu kompilēta.
