worm Posted July 23, 2003 Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 btw ja kadam interesee shis bugs, sheit es atradu izklaastu inetaa: It's the spectator bug and I'm going to reveal it so it can get fixed faster, so here it is: 1.) Make sure the server you're on allows spectator mode. 2.) Make sure there's room for you to be able to switch teams freely without that <T/CT> Team is full shit. 3.) Make sure "i" is bound to "showbriefing". (~, bind i "showbriefing") and "m" is bound to "chooseteam", (~, bind m "chooseteam") 4.) Join a server. 5.) Go into spectator mode. 6.) Join CTs or Ts. 7.) At the skin select menu, push i, push "0". 8.) Wait for next round to start... if you did this right, your name and kills and crap should be in WHITE font instead of red or blue while you're on the team that you joined. 9.) Again , if you did this right, you should be frozen (unable to move and only jump) once round starts... you shouldn't be able to see your life, ammo, crosshair, etc. 10.) Buy a gun... any gun and you should be able to move freely now. 11.) Once round starts... at ANYTIME and ONCE per round, you may switch teams while staying alive and staying in your current skin by pushing "m", then # that corrosponds to the OPPOSITE team that you are on, then "i" at the choose skin menu, then "0". 12.) You know you did this right when in the upper left hand corner of your screen it says "<Your Name> has joined the <opposite team name> team.> 13.) Now you can shoot and KILL people that were on your team a second before with that other team's skin. 14.) ONCE per every round, you may switch teams while alive by using step #11. 15.) Example: Lamer Bob joins Server Lames R Us Lamer Bob joins terrorist team. Lamer Bob pushes "i" at skin select, then pushes "0" Lamer Bob waits 'til next round and pisses in his pants with anticipation. Lamer Bob goes and gets a kleenex while he waits. Lamer Bob starts the round and wonders why the fuck he's frozen. Lamer Bob reads Elite Frenzied Spirit's posts a little better. Lamer Bob buys a mac-10 cause everyone knows it owns. Lamer Bob can move now but he can't see anything like his ammo, life, or crosshair! Lamer Bob couldn't aim anyways but this bothers him... Lamer Bob pushes his hotkey for m1-whatever's wallhack's crosshair to appear. Lamer Bob watches his team mate T's run off with their knives out. Lamer Bob pushes "m", "2" (CT's), "i", and then "0". Lamer Bob sees <Lamer Bob has joined the Counter-Terrorist team.> message appear in the upper left hand corner of his screen. Lamer Bob runs to the terrorists who are still around him wondering if they notice he's a CT. Everyone sees Lamer Bob as still a terrorist skin and does nothing. Lamer Bob sprays his mac-10 at his team mates who are still trying to get out of the spawn. <Lamber Bob (headshot symbol/mac10 symbol) (insert terrorist name here)> shows up on the upper right hand screen. Lamer Bob is happy and content and makes a statue of Frenzied Spirit the next day. Lamer Bob continuesly switches teams every round to "team-kill" (not really TK'n) and to trick everyone.
