Pagājis gandrīz mēnesis kopš Latvijas dalības pirmajā kvalifikācijas kausā un beidzot ir izsijātas 16 labākās valstsvienības. Grupu posms notiek 3 nedēļas, 16 valstsvienības tik sadalītas 4 grupās un divas labākās komandas iekļūst play-off sērijā. Grupa A Zviedrija, Latvija, Ungārija, Krievija. Grupa B Somija, Spānija, Izraēla, Kanāda. Grupa C Apvienotā Karaliste, Nīderlande, ASV, Lietuva. Grupa D Vācija, Portugāle, Norvēģija, Francija. Spēles: Latvija - Krievija: 4:3 ; 5:0 TF2TV Video: granary, snakewater.
