trigger_hurt

NOTES: ouch. this entity is based on touch, you touch it, you feel the effects of it.

1) name: the name of your trigger_hurt

2) target: the name of the entity you want to be triggered when (god forbid) someone triggers this entity.

3) damage: the amount of damage (per second i think) a person is dealt when he/she is in contact with the trigger_hurt

4) delay before trigger: the time (in seconds after the entity is called upon) before this entity activates.

5) damage type: the type of damage the player is dealt.

TRIGGER_HURT FLAGS

1) target once: will only call apon the entity in the target field one time instead of every time the player(s) get hurt by the trigger_hurt entity

2) start off: this entity will start off, you must trigger it with something else for it to become active.

3) fire client only: will only call on its target if a player happens to cross its path.

4) touch client only: only the player will be hurt.

I thnik some of you know this problem, an a****e renamed your *.bsp file and creat his own *.txt. With this tutorial you can prepare map thiefs.

Creat a "game_text" entity and name it "game_playerspawn", this couse it will be activated if a player spawn (every round).

As "Message Text" tippe in the mapname, optimal:

"welcome to de_name - by Mappername".

The "X" and "Y" setting affect were the text is showen, my favorite is ("X"=-1 and "Y"=0.05) wich is Top, centered in the Screen.

The best Effcet is Fade in/out.

Color1 and Color2 stets the text Color White (255 255 255) is my favorite.

Fade it/out Time affects the time wich the text needet to be readdeble

Remember the holde time shoud be not longer than 5 Seconds, because the text shout be away if the freeztime is over!

The Flags "All Players" shout be disablet.

ok bet taja hurt nevar uzlikt ka peec kada laikam tikai rauj nost Hp nevis visu laiku

nju bet starp katru to raavienu ir tas laiks kuru tu noraadiiji??
